Hewlett-Packard’s First Logo

Hewlett-Packard’s first logo, introduced in 1941 and trademarked in 1942, was the beginning of a company icon. The logo would be modified many times in the ensuing years, but the lower-case italic “hp” within a circle would continue to signify the brand throughout the company’s history.
